Sports Performance Massage Therapy


Our Licensed Massage Therapist, Matthew Ibrahim, uses a simple treatment approach: help you recover from injury, move well, build strength, and become pain free. This individualized approach is designed to help you make quick progress in your training and performance by restoring movement and allowing your tissues to heal. The treatment process includes four steps: assessment, manual therapy, movement, and education.


We begin with an assessment to find movement limitations, structural deviations, potential risk for injury, and areas that may currently be in pain. Our expertise in sports rehabilitation and blended knowledge of industry leading assessment tools allows us to target the problematic area.


We use specific hands-on treatment techniques to restore function and treat your specific condition. We use the following manual therapy techniques during treatment: soft tissue work, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, injury management, cupping, and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization.


We implement specific corrective exercises, individualized to you, in order to reinforce newly acquired ranges of motion and positions. This process includes exercise instruction, lifting technique and form, pain-free movement, and recovery strategies.


This is the most important aspect of our treatment approach, since we want to make sure that the positive changes we made during your treatment session continues into your daily life and activities. It is our goal to not only help you get out of pain, but also teach you how to move well and build strength.
